Disposable feminine care products will be beneficial for air quality as it will reduce the number of trucks of emission for their trasports.

Nowadays, disposable feminine care products not only deliver absorption and dryness over long period of time, they also are flexible and confortable. With CELSTAB project they will also become much thinner by incredibly reducing the quantity of the absorbing materials and of the packaging material.

The novel feminine product will be innovative in terms of novel introduction of cellulose fibres of varying length coming from locally available wood sources (e.g. hard wood, Eucalyptus, hemp, pineapple, Abaca) to enhance material properties ( higher web integry, wet/dry collapse resistance, pore connettivity, void volume).
